”For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

God seems to be completely absent in our world today. Organisations and even individuals talk about doing good. It seems as though doing good has become the norm, thus relegating God to the background.

Humanism–a system of thought that is based on the values, characteristics and behaviour that are believed to be best in human beings, rather than any supernatural authority—a concern with the needs, well being, and interest of the people, is clearly the standard for life now.

Humanism tells you to be good to the poor, and in fact, people through deception so believe in humanism that God is no way to be found in them. They believe that as long as I am good to my fellow humans, am ok—I will be a better person in the next world. To them, anything God is old fashion.

While I accept that God’s word teaches us to love, no one can love his fellow human being and think that by doing this he will be a better person in the next world without first loving God and reconciling with Him.

No one can be a better person in the next world except that person has done away with sin.      Works for humanity–millions in donations, philanthropy, etc will amount to nothing if you have not reconciled with God. Even if you give your head to the world, yet you do not have Christ in you, you shall gain nothing except pains and disappointment.

The fact is, humanism deceives making one think he is alright, however, it keeps one away from God now and in the world to come. For man is justified–put right with God through faith in Christ (grace). No man is put right with God through works.

Act now, believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him.
