Wisdom in patience.

Indeed, there is wisdom in patience, but not many of us know this.

”Now it is true that I am a close relative; however, there is a relative closer than I.” Ruth 3:12.

We all know the story of Naomi’s return with her daughter in law, i.e Ruth after years of sojourn in a foreign land on account of famine. Boaz a close relative had all needed to have Ruth as his wife but he chose not to take advantage of the situation. Boaz applied wisdom and waited patiently just to ensure that the right things were done. And indeed, he got the right things done and Ruth became his wife in peace.

In life, we must patiently follow the course of things to avert unnecessary damage to relationships. Even when power is in our hands, we must not take advantage over others.

Let us pray God to make wisdom our companion.
